I also took this class and was amazed by all the valuable information that applied to the "real world". I would highly encourage any student to enroll in this class.

Great story, Melissa. Perhaps you can design a poll where students can list ways they would like to be more involved.
Go Saints!

I hope that hard to read sign is not what Missouri is using. It would be good without the colored additions. It is confusing with them.

The signals are not intended to make left turn signals easier to understand. They have another purpose:

The big difference between circular green and flashing yellow arrow is the meaning given to traffic that is NOT turning left. This gives the following advantages:

- The flashing yellow arrow can be used when the circular signals are red. Circular green can't do this.

- This eliminates the dangerous sequence called "yellow trap."

- It allows signal sequences that would cause yellow trap if left turns were allowed on circular green.

- It allows more time to turn left.

- It allows signal progression (often mistakenly called "synchronization") on more two way streets in BOTH directions.

I am a great fan of the Harry Potter books, they are all so competent and miraculous. But I didn't think the movie series were ideal in any respect, but they were still great movies. With that, I was pretty excited to see the end of the film franchise, and impressed with the trailers. So I had high expectations. And thankfully it did not dissatisfy, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, blew past my already high expectations and I was enthralled!

The entire movie looked magnificent! The cinematography quite well done, the art direction was wonderful. The movie was beautiful to look at, the visuals were spectacular and truly Oscar worthy! The set designers, cinematographers really need to be awarded for their work, because it looks like they spend of time and money on the look of the film.

The cast of the film was simply excellent, they should all be applauded too. Emma Watson, as usual is and great and she'll have a bright career ahead of her. Rupert Grint is pretty much great also, he is a fine actor indeed. Daniel Radcliffe did an incredible job and was very remarkable as Harry Potter. Although I'm sure Ralph Fiennes was the star of the film, he did outstanding job as the evil, insane Lord Voldemort, I believe he deserves an Oscar Nomination for his job. The other cast were also great too.

We all grew up overtime with the series, we followed the adventures of Harry Potter for approximately 10 years, I believe. It seems very weird that there won't be any more Harry Potter films to look forward too. I most certainly will miss the franchise completely! However I am happy the series got a wonderful ending. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II is not only the best film in the series, but it is probably the one of the best films of 2011. Everyone should see this film, no matter if they do not like past Harry Potter films.

Have a great day!

Great, we're increasing enrollment, but are we increasing quality? I have to wonder if our efforts to recruit more students every year is compromising the standards the university once held... nothing against athletes at all, but it seems the more we recruit and the more competitive we try to make our teams, the passion and strength academically seems to decrease (and our teams don't seem to be getting much greater to any extent that would justify this). But that's just my opinion.
