Magnolia, Maryville’s art and literary magazine, has reached a record number of submissions this spring. The magazine usually sees around 80 to 90 submissions. After the March 12 deadline was extended to March 18 this year, there were 172. The increase in submissions is due to a push in advertisements and promotion of the magazine.
