Have Every Note Everywhere With Evernote

As technology advances the tablets available are becoming very popular. There are so many to chose from with multiple features; it’s hard to pick one! In my personal opinion if you are seriously thinking about a tablet, getting an iPad from Apple is the way to go. Granted they are more expensive but the screen is bigger and it has more apps available for students. The iTunes U app is for college students. It includes a lot of free applications including books, study guides and learning applications. One of my favorite apps is a flashcard app that you type in all your study material and answers and they quiz you on flashcards! It saves paper and space by letting you bring them wherever you go!

The application on my iPad that I cannot get enough of is Evernote. It is an all in one notebook, planner, scrapbook, list-maker, etc. Basically, it is an electronic filing cabinet. What is great about it is that you can log in anywhere and access your whole database of information. It has the same idea as a cloud drive but you can also edit your information or create new docuents. You can have a whole book that has a collaboration of e-mails, web pages and text created by you. If it is a group project the whole project can be shared with other members of the group, as well! I use mine for mostly note-taking because you can record voice and audio notes! You can link text to other notebooks as well as e-mail the finished product to others. Evernote is available on Macbooks, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It does, however, work on a PC through the web. Most features are avalible through the free edition but some have become part of a premium edition package that is available for purchase.

Utilizing a tablet for school is one of my best purchases. It’s a lot of money but once you see what it has to offer it becomes an investment piece that can enhance your educational experience!
