Team Edward or Team Jacob? I recommend checking them out in the newest addition to the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn: Part One. The newest of the series is a success in my book. I was counting down the days until it came out in theatres and now it is finally here. The fourth movie, much like the first three, just pulls you in; you feel like you’re there, living through all of this with them.

Unfortunately, for the men being dragged along by their girlfriend or wife, this movie is not as action packed as the others — a little to my disappointment. Breaking Dawn: Part One is packed with beautiful Cullens, hot wolves, awkward humans, and an adorable half-human, half-vampire baby. Although, not quite as much action, there is more blood; Bella gets a taste of vampire life.

Edward and Bella’s wedding is exactly as I pictured: beautiful, white, romantic, and over the top in ways. Plus, Bella gets a surprise during her reception, which all Team Jacob fans will love. The movie is funny in many ways thanks to the ‘awkward’ humans. Poor Charlie, he’s so awkward, naïve and hilarious but brings a lot to the movie in small ways.

Breaking Dawn: Part One takes you through Edward and Bella’s beautiful and exciting honeymoon, through the most challenging time and toughest decisions in their relationship, the unusual birth of their daughter, and finally to….well, I can’t spoil it.

The chemistry with Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) is undeniable, they are definitely convincing; although their relationship status outside of the movie might have a little something to do with that.

Is this movie perfect? No. Some of the actors could be completely interchangeable thanks to their acting skills, or lack thereof. But for the most part, I highly recommend this movie; it definitely leaves you wanting more, I didn’t want it to end. Don’t run out as soon as you think it’s over– you might miss the teaser leading into Breaking Dawn: Part Two.

My prediction—Breaking Dawn: Part Two is going to be truly amazing and the best yet.

Overall grade: A
