The St. Louis Cardinals are World Series bound hoping to bring home their 11th World Series win. The Cardinals, who have won the most World Series’ in the National League, were 10 ½ games behind the Atlanta Braves at the end of August and came back to win the National League Wild Card in the very last game of the season.
After beating the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series 3-2, the Cardinals were matched up against the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series (NLCS). On the night of Oct. 16, the Cardinals beat the Brewers 12-6, capturing their 18th pennant in game 6 which ended the series with the Cardinals winning four out of the 6 games played in the NLCS.
